For clients who need help with legislative solutions, Galloway Consulting Group maintains a presence in the Capitol in order to be your eyes and ears when the legislature is in session. Positive relations with the legislative and executive branches are key to our success. Over the last 30-years, and continuing today, Galloway Consulting Group has maintained bipartisan relationships. We have effectively worked with seven Governors (Republican and Democrat), five Attorney Generals, and Republican and Democrat legislative leaders in the Senate and House of Representatives. Our reputation in the Capitol continues as a trusted source of accurate information to help shape public policy to accomplish client goals. We have extensive experience drafting legislation with clients and legislators, analyzing current legislation, and writing and presenting testimony before legislative committees.

With 30 years of lobbying experience, Doug Galloway, Principal of Galloway Consulting Group, has developed strategies, action plans, and managed lobby teams in Missouri and six other states (Arkansas, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Nebraska). Galloway Consulting Group can assist clients in developing grassroots coalitions and Political Action Committees. We can provide insight into legislative district demographics and other key information to help determine which candidates are likely to win elections.

Clients will receive updates, as requested, on pending legislation, amendments, committee and agency hearings, and debate schedules. Galloway Consulting Group can also provide updates and support during administrative rule-making by state agencies.

Consulting on all levels of long term care:

Cathy Galloway RN, BSN provides experience in all levels of long-term care. She was a Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) certified skilled nursing surveyor for 11 years in the Section for Long-Term Care, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS).

While employed with DHSS, she participated in surveys and inspections for all levels of long-term care, trained and developed training for state-wide surveyors, reviewed plans of correction, and participated in Minimum Data Set/Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS/RAI) surveys. Cathy has an extensive knowledge of Federal and Missouri long-term care regulations focusing on skilled nursing, assisted living, and residential care.

Survey Consulting
